It has excellent lap shear properties, is resistant to jet fuels, most hydraulic fluids and salt or fresh water. EPIBOND 1534A/B will set in 2-3 days at room temperature. In addition, the curing process can expedited with heat. The resin and hardener, if kept tightly sealed in their original containers, have a shelf life of up to two years.
