It is useful due to its high electrically conductivity and ability to survive moderate temperatures (250 degrees Fahrenheit) and remain unaffected by long term exposure to aviation gas or jet fuel. PR1764 is recommended for use with aluminum allows and for shielding against corrosion between dissimilar metals. PR1764 is excellent for most aircraft substrates when used with the proper adhesion promoter.
