It is useful due to its ability to be effective at moderate temperatures (250 degrees Fahrenheit) and remain unaffected by long term exposure to aviation gas or jet fuel. PR1775 also has high electrically conductivity and is a non-chromate sealant. PR1775 consists of a manganese dioxide cured, Permapol polysulfide compound that exists as a paste. It cures at room temperature.
