A dichromate cured polysulfide compound can be applied by brush and then sets at room temperature. Once set PS870 creates a resilient seal with common substrates in aircraft construction with its superior adhesion. In addition to inhibiting corrosion, the material also retains its elasticity even after exposure to aviation fuel and jet gas. The sealant also remains effective within a broad temperature range.
